Palak Chicken

  • 2 cups onions
  • 2 cups tomatoes
  • 1 cup frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 kg chicken cut into 12 pieces
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • Salt to taste


  1. Add ghee and oil to a pan at medium heat. Put in thinly sliced onions and fry till golden
  2. Add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, and cumin powder. Fry for half a minute and add chopped tomatoes to the mixture

  3. Keep on heat till the tomatoes are soft and mushy. Then, add chicken and let cook for 5 minutes. Add salt to taste.

  4. Now, add the washed and drained Emborg Frozen Chopped Spinach to the chicken and keep the lid closed till you find the chicken cooked well. This should take around 20 minutes.
  5. Garnish with coriander and serve
