  • 2 medium beetroots roasted
  • 1 cup yoghurt
  • 4 tsp honey
  • 4 tsp maple syrup optional
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract optional
  • pistachios and almond flakes to garnish


  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Wrap your beetroots/beets in aluminium foil and roast for about 45 minutes. Take them out, peel and mash them with a fork after they are cool.
  2. Add your beets into a food processor and blend till you see a homogenous mixture. Let this cool for about an hour. Later, add this mixture along with yoghurt, honey, maple syrup, and vanilla extract into a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  3. Freeze for about 15 mins first and then beat the batter till its consistency is soft and there are no lumps. Freeze again for 2 hours. Serve, garnish, and enjoy.
