Ramadan Mubarak to all our readers! Ramadan is a month of reflection and gratitude and is best spent with loved ones. Sitting down together after the day to break one’s fast with family is the time we look forward to most.
Dubai is known to host some of the best iftars where there is a spread of cuisines of different kinds. While I am a person who prefers quality over quantity, I do happen to indulge in some buffets. However, sometimes you find average food and service for a price that is a tad too high.
And that’s where Hungryoungwoman comes in! This new list features the top five places to have the best Iftar in Dubai Continue reading “Top 5 Places to have Iftar: Dubai 2020”
Among the plethora of options available for brunches in Dubai, the Palace Downtown brunch is high on the list. The brunch is hosted in Ewaan restaurant which is located at ground level of the hotel. Continue reading “1001 Flavors Palace Downtown Brunch”
I love brunches, they are the perfect way to celebrate with a group of friends or relax with your loved one. Best part? They are for people like me who don’t like waking up early on the weekends and can’t stay hungry until lunch.
Hungryoungwoman has curated a list of some of the best brunches in Dubai. These include buffets of course, but if you fancy set menus, send a request 🙂 Continue reading “Best Brunches in Dubai”

We are suckers for brunch on weekends. It gives us an excuse to wake up late and spend those lazy hours eating. There’s a whole page dedicated to brunch spots in Dubai, which you can visit here.
So last weekend, we headed to the Funusual Brunch at Accents, Intercontinental Hotel. The brunch promises multi cuisine food on display, some live stations, and booze, of course, like how the meal is done here. All for a price of AED 445. (AED 295 for soft beverages is the one we opted for) Continue reading “Brunch Review: Accents -Intercontinental, Dubai Marina”
Our first dine out after a long vacation was to Park Regis located in Burjuman housing the famous Kris with a View, a restaurant that offers beautiful scenic views of Dubai. We previously decided to book a table for a personal occasion, since that didn’t work out due to a private event, we settled for dinner on Friday. Another post that was long overdue, and I think I am highly in need of another meal here. The Collective, located in Grand Hyatt, Dubai is a fairly new place offering an all day buffet. Continue reading “Does The Collective prove more than just a buffet?”
The Constellation Ballroom at The Address, Dubai Marina is probably the most underrated place in Dubai. Most find it helpful to rant/gloat about an experience on Zomato, however, I find just a handful of reviews for the place.
Shades of orange, pink and purple cover the ceiling and bathe the ballroom giving it a divine look. The entrance is lined with a red carpet making the guest feel royal, while the ballroom is decorated like a food bazaar. Manzil, Downtown Dubai is one of the better Iftars offered this Ramadan (priced at AED 170) for an authentic and royal affair. We visited the hotel last year during the Holy Month and my thoughts are only on the basis of keeping that as a comparison. Continue reading “#BuffetsAreGoodforHealth – Manzil, Downtown Dubai”
I usually keep to myself and family during Ramadan and try to not over indulge in outside food. Cause spending time with family and friends is what iftars are about right? And what better way to do this than home cooked food? Continue reading “Iftar at Lafayette Gourmet”
