I’ve tried Just Salad before and wasn’t displeased, so this time, wouldn’t be different either…or so I thought. The last experience was a home delivery so this was the first time I walked into its actual outlet. The place is rather small and can just fit in about 5-6 people. Luckily, though, they have an outdoor seating area which proved helpful due to the perfect weather outside.
Feeling adventurous, I ordered a customized salad along with a Pesto Chicken Paradise salad. The wraps consisted of a supposedly spicy Tandoori Fire, Buffalo Lollo Rosso Caesar and a Buffalo Chicken.
I loved the salads. Try their innovative dressings like pomegranate molasses and date balsamic that left me wowed. Ranging from AED 45-49 each, these are nutritious and fill you up in no time. The wraps are the same though a bit more heavy in your tummy. My favourite being the Tandoori Fire and Buffalo Chicken.

The Tandoori Fire was said to be spicy but lacked that flavour entirely. Hints of Tandoori Chicken and onions made the wrap favourable, so I didn’t mind much. Unfortunately, the Buffalo Lollo Chicken was quite a disaster. The wrap was so soggy that led to breaking and created a mess.
Drinks were another hit. I tried the newly available ALO drinks in apple+pear and watermelon+peach flavours while my guests went for a Peanut Butter Warrior and Vitamin C Kick. All of them loved by me.
If you want something that isn’t too sweet, opt for the Peanut Butter based. The creamy smoothie has a buttery flavour with hints of banana. While the latter is a much sweeter alternative, it is high in its citrus content due to the addition of orange.
If I’m coming back? Definitely! This experience was clearly better from the first and I have to say, Just Salad has found a fan in me. Being a sucker for aloe vera, I’d surely order their drinks. Customized salads and wraps would be better for picky eaters though they have good options like Tandoori Fire and Pesto Chicken Paradise that would look in a salad as well as wrapped up.
