Sarnie Station, is a new delivery themed restaurant. Looking at their delicious pictures on Instagram, I decided to give them a try. The next morning, three wonderfully large sarnies with a couple of Walkers arrived home. These were packed with their names labelled neatly. I felt the bill was very cute! Going with the London theme, their logo is similar to that of the Underground. This bill was stuck on a UK flag paper.
I was quite overwhelmed with the size as each looked like a meal for two and I have to admit, it was a bit too heavy for breakfast, which is why I had to skip lunch.
Chicken and Bacon: This was my favorite from the lot! The chicken shredded in big pieces with bits of bacon. Loved the succulent pieces of chicken that made it stand out from the other sarnies. A perfect way to satisfy your hunger.
Egg Mayo: Sarnie Station does have some interesting options. I don’t usually go for egg sandwiches, but I’m happy I tried this. The sandwich had boiled egg placed on top of something that tasted like an egg coleslaw, which was pretty good. Nothing like I have tasted before.
Prawn Marie Rose: The prawn sarnie was probably my least preferred among the three. This is probably as I like my prawns more cooked than this. Although this may be perfect for ones that prefer boiled prawns.
Sarnie Station delivers from 8 AM to 1 PM. Their tagline “If you’re not fast, you’re last” is pretty intriguing, which made me want to try it in the first place. Also, it is quite affordable and offers easy access, especially for people at work.
You can call or order through whatsapp on their number 050 482 7756
Until then. xx
