The Constellation Ballroom at The Address, Dubai Marina is probably the most underrated place in Dubai. Most find it helpful to rant/gloat about an experience on Zomato, however, I find just a handful of reviews for the place.
Shades of orange, pink and purple cover the ceiling and bathe the ballroom giving it a divine look. The entrance is lined with a red carpet making the guest feel royal, while the ballroom is decorated like a food bazaar.
I might be biased when it comes to reviewing this place, but The Constellation Ballroom has consistently improved its food, hospitality and ambiance. Which is why I chose this as THE place to surprise my fiancé, A, for his birthday.
As we make our way through the live cooking stations of fried seafood, pasta, and lamb ouzi, it sure is a very difficult task to choose the best. And, guaranteed you’re not leaving hungry.
Some of the highlights were the delicious fried prawn tempura (prepared fresh in front of us), the sushi bar, grills and the dessert counter.
We’ve found that not many do grills like The Address, Dubai Marina and I reckon that this is the reason why people return back to the hotel. The meat is charred perfectly and is succulent as well as juicy. We also liked the lamb chops from our brunch at Mazina very much (from the same hotel).
The dessert counter is another story, that starts, and ends with sweet notes of chocolate mousse, a sinful sticky pudding, and the comforting Umm Ali. Thanks to the management, who were able to arrange a decadent cake for A and made every moment special that evening.
If I’m going back: AED 210 might seem too high a price, but if you’re getting a luxurious getaway that is going to feed you, why not? I would probably give The Constellation Ballroom the first thought if I’m entertaining guests too.
