I’m sure most of the dessert, or rather, chocolate loving people must have visited this joint at least once in their lifetime. If not, you are seriously doing something wrong in life.

Dip n Dip has been in town for quite sometime now, their new outlet in Jumeirah made me rethink life goals and actually visit the place for the first time. I visited their store in Mirdif, where it is located on the first floor of Arabian Centre. For a Saturday evening, the place seemed quite empty, with just a couple of tables occupied. As the evening progressed, we could see the place filling up with youngsters mostly.

I found their interiors a bit strange, why would they place Arabic coffee pots on their shelf like walls? There wasn’t a manager present when I asked this, and our server didn’t seem to know the reason.

Moving on, we started with drinks. A hot chocolate with marshmallows, an Oreo based shake and the Dip n Dip Freezy.

I preferred the hot chocolate. The drink wasn’t too sweet, which helped, as the other dishes ordered were too sweet for me. You can never go wrong with marshmallows, my favourite part of the drink.

Visiting Dip n Dip and not ordering their famous Brownie Crepe would be a complete waste of your time. This was goodness! Seriously, a recommended dish here. The soft crepe was stuffed with chocolate brownies and drizzled on top were milk, dark and white chocolate.

Our last order, and this was as we were too full with the richness of the previous dessert, was the Chocolate Fondant Cake. The cake was topped with chocolate and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. As good as this looked, sadly, it didn’t taste that way. I would have preferred the cake to be a bit warm so it could taste well with the coolness of the ice cream.

Coming to the service, our server was a darling! She helped us with everything we required. All in all, chocolate cravings satisfied! I would recommend the Brownie Crepe to anyone visiting the place. It’s chocolaty, enough for 2-3 people and even affordable!

Dip n Dip has an extensive menu that features more chocolate based dishes. From Chocolate Fettuccine to chocolate waffle sticks, this place is nothing, but a chocolate haven.
