Still in the festive spirit? Want to take your family and friends somewhere they’ll remember? Look no further! The Street Art Brunch is here to impress all your close ones.
Setting standards high even before you enter, Nine7One is located at The Oberoi, Business Bay. Displaying a beautiful array of all things delicious, the brunch is hosted every Friday (1 PM to 4 PM)
The spread includes Indian, Mexican, Japanese and mixed grills, ending with a variety of sweet treats. Let’s come back to that later, I’ll tell you what we started with. Walking along the long aisle, we just had to choose whatever we wanted and our order would be delivered to our table in minutes! Nine7One has surely taken the buffet concept to another level.
We started with a Lemon Mint Mojito and a berry drink, while a bruschetta plate and tacos arrived at our table. We were not even finished with these, when food serving buckets with fish, chips and fried chicken came along. Ladies serving mussels also walked by.
There was a chaat section that displayed dhoklas, pani puri and kachori. Served a few for myself and came to a table covered with meatballs, shawarmas, mixed grills and a Chinese noodle soup. My Oh My! We really got carried away with the ordering!
But since the brunch served street food, we could try most of the dishes without feeling too full for our next course – dessert!
And trust me, you really need to save some space for this one! Being a chocolate lover, what attracted me most was the white and milk chocolate fountain. Another highlight was the “Dragon Breath”, you really need to check this one out!
The counter held a wide display of some delicious cakes and mousse, of which my favourites were the Green tea cake, Chocolate Concord and their macarons. Writing about this has led to huge cravings now!
The ambiance of the place is more like a food carnival. Expect crowds and a buzzing vibe. A great place to enjoy with large groups, where there is something for everyone.
