A Tea to Remember – The Palace, Downtown Dubai

‘Tis the season of Afternoon Teas, with the weather just right to sit outdoors and enjoy a cuppa!ย

Taking a break from a busy schedule, (you can probably make that out from the lack of posts recently!) we head to The Palace, Downtown Dubai for their Afternoon Tea sponsored by Bulgari to showcase their new range of fragrances.

We are seated at the best table with a beautiful view of Burj Khalifa and all I’m thinking is, how blessed I am to be raised in a country like this. The hostess is soon at our table explaining the concept and how the teas served are carefully chosen to match the new collection of Bulgari. While I askย for a Cappucino (yes, I did that at an Afternoon Tea), my mom orders one of their exquisite teas.

Shortly, our table is filled with miniature delights in the form of Cucumber Gazpacho, Prawn Cocktail, finger sandwiches, cheesecake, and scones. Also, there’s an elegant bowl of chocolate fondue paired with fruits and marshmallows.

As we’re nibbling on the treats, the hostess gets us freshly prepared crepes and sorbet from the live stations. Later, we end…with coffee again!

Amidst the song of chirping birds, the light breeze, and the sweet fragrance of selected perfumes from Bulgari, it was without a doubt, a tea to remember.
